This is the first of our three preview shows for the South by Southwest festivals, and arguably SXSW is most widely known for it’s music festival (although we know that Film and Music are catching up quickly in their respective circles). I caught up with Brent Grulke, who helps helm SXSW Music, to find out how the preparations are coming along, where the bands are from, and generally find out why 2009 could well be the best year yet for SXSW Music.

Things are never what they seem – and thats very true for today’s show. Better late than never, this has been kicking around the hard drive since I got back to Edinburgh (which admittedly was only at the start of this week). A conference with content to rival the Lobby-Con? You never know, it has to happen one day!
